Controlled Bleeding is a legendary experimental band from Massapequa, New York. The band's classic first album, KNEES AND BONES which now stands as one of the earliest documents of American power electronics, was issued in 1983. Over several dozen releases on what seems to be almost as many record labels, the core of Paul Lemos, Joe Papa and Chris Moriarty have explored many different musical sides of the band, from electronic dance to dark ambience to noisy free-for-all. "Bees (Parts 1 - 6)" is a more recent example of Lemos, Papa, and guest drummer Jay D'Onfrio bashing away at the senses. « less
